Meet the Founder

Meet Our Founder – Steve Qi

Mr. Steve Qi was born in China and received his graduate degree and Juris Doctor degree in Southern California. Since founding the Law Offices of Steve Qi & Associates, Mr. Qi has guided thousands of Chinese clients through business, investment, and immigration legal processes in the United States.

As one of the earliest Chinese-American immigration attorneys, he has experienced multiple immigration policy reforms and handled complex immigration cases. In his over two decades of practice, he has helped close to a thousand Chinese students and scholars obtain their green cards through EB-1A and NIW. In addition, Mr. Qi has successfully petitioned several hundreds of EB-5 visas on behalf of Chinese investors.

In the meantime, Mr. Qi also represented several hundreds of business clients, corporations and individuals, in their litigation and transactional practices. He has helped his clients prevailed in numerous litigation cases, with judgment and/or verdict in the millions of dollars. One of the cases was featured in the Daily Journal, one of California’s most respected legal publications.

Due to his deep understanding and experience in U.S. immigration and business laws, Mr. Steve Qi is also a frequent guest to local TV and Radio shows such as KSCI-Channel 18, Phoenix TV, Skylink TV, etc.
